Does my board save automatically, or do I need to save manually?
Your board saves automatically. Every time you draw, add a shape, or make any change, the board is saved to your browser's local storage within a couple of seconds. You'll see a brief "Saved" indicator near the board name when this happens. There's no manual save button needed.
Do I need to sign up or create an account to use the whiteboard?
No. You can open the whiteboard and start drawing immediately — no account, no email, no password. Just click "Start Drawing" and you're on a fresh canvas in about one second.
Can multiple people draw on the same board at the same time?
You can share your board's unique URL with others using the Share button, which copies the link to your clipboard. However, this tool currently stores boards locally in each person's browser, so it's best suited for sharing a snapshot of your work rather than simultaneous live editing.
Is there a limit to how many shapes or elements I can add?
There's no fixed limit built into the tool. You can add as many pen strokes, shapes, sticky notes, text blocks, and images as you need. The practical limit depends on your browser and device memory, but for typical use — brainstorming sessions, lesson diagrams, wireframes — you won't hit any ceiling.
Does the whiteboard work on mobile phones and tablets?
Yes, the canvas supports touch input and works in mobile browsers. That said, the interface is optimized for desktop use with keyboard shortcuts (like V for select, P for pen, T for text, Ctrl+Z for undo). For the best experience, a laptop or desktop with a mouse is recommended.
Can I export or download my board?
Yes. Click the Export button in the top-right corner and choose either PNG (downloads your board as an image) or JSON (saves the full board data so you can re-import it later). You can also import a previously exported JSON file to restore a board.
Is my board private, or can anyone see it?
Your board is stored entirely in your browser's local storage — it never gets uploaded to our servers. No one can see your board unless you explicitly share the URL with them. If you clear your browser data, the board will be deleted from that device since there's no server-side backup.
